Invite to Participate
Dear Restaurant Owner, Winery Owner or Chef!
We’re inviting a group of Ashland restaurants to participate in Ashland Restaurant Week, a curated culinary event designed to drive overnight visitation, longer stays, and higher-value guests, not just one-night of dining traffic.
This is not a traditional discount restaurant week. It’s an experience-driven program built to support quality, creativity, and sustainability for participating restaurants.
This new event has been launched by hi Ashland, a new initiative for the hospitality industry in Ashland that brings together hotels, restaurants, attractions, and event partners to amplify Ashland’s visitor economy and create exceptional experiences for Ashlanders and visitors.
What Makes This Different
Ashland Restaurant Week is intentionally designed to:
Encourage 2–4 night stays, not day trips
Attract food-forward, arts-engaged, higher-spend visitors
Support restaurants during midweek and shoulder seasons
Protect pricing integrity while increasing total revenue
What Participation Looks Like
Participating restaurants may choose one or more options:
A prix fixe or tasting menu (your format, your pricing)
A chef’s table or limited-seat experience
A pairing dinner featuring local wine, cider, or spirits
A collaborative menu night with another Ashland chef
A Restaurant Week–exclusive dish or experience
You maintain full control over:
Menu design
Pricing
Capacity
Service nights
Why This Benefits Your Restaurant
Participation is structured to:
Increase shoulder season covers
Attract guests who plan their trip around dining
Encourage repeat visits across multiple nights
Reduce reliance on discounts to generate traffic
Align your restaurant with Ashland’s premium food and culture identity
Lodging partners will actively promote stay-and-dine packages, meaning many guests will arrive already committed to dining experiences.
Timing & Audience
Ashland Restaurant Week is planned for a shoulder-season window (April 10-16th 2026), when incremental demand has the greatest impact.
Target guests include:
Couples and culinary travelers
Arts and theater visitors
Boutique-inn and retreat guests
Visitors seeking intentional, slow travel experiences
Participation Support
Ashland Restaurant Week will provide:
Centralized promotion and storytelling in partnership with Travel Ashland and Travel Southern Oregon
Lodging + dining coordination
Event calendar placement
Clear messaging that prioritizes quality over volume
