Weisinger Family Winery

Weisinger Family Winery is the original -- the first commercial winery to open in the Rogue Valley, founded in 1978 when John Weisinger planted his first acre of Gewürztraminer on a small Ashland farm. Now in its second generation, the winery is led by son Eric Weisinger, a seasoned winemaker whose craft was shaped by years working across New Zealand, Australia, and the West Coast before returning home to carry the family legacy forward. What began as a pioneering act of faith in Southern Oregon's potential has grown into one of the region's most storied and celebrated wine destinations -- and proof that the Rogue Valley was always worth believing in.
